PRESS RELEASE:

STING*chronicity offers an unexpected combination of monologues with a stunning variety of musical arrangements of the music of brilliant contemporary songwriter, Sting. The show is "set" in Madison Square Garden on the occasion of the final reunion concert of the iconic band, The Police, which was headed by Sting. STING*chronicity surveys the diverse audience, and their very varied interpretations of his music as the words of his songs are filtered by their unique lives and experiences. "A concert always brings people together who couldn't be further apart."

The show includes many of Sting's most popular and including ""Message In A Bottle", "Moon Over Bourbon Street," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic," "Roxanne," "Every Breath You Take." as well as some lesser known songs, like "Ghost Story," a song from Sting's Broadway show, The Last Ship. Sting sent us out an S.O.S. and 18,000 fans responded.

STING*chronicity will play at The Metropolitan Room 34 West 22nd Street (between 5th & 6th Avenues) Thursday, January 22, Saturday, February 21st, Sunday, March 8th and Thursday, April 2, 2015. All shows are at 7pm.

Monologues were provided by some of New York's most impressive playwrights: Diana Amsterdam, (New York State Council on the Arts grant recipient, winner of three BBC commissions, and First Prize winner in New York Women in Film and TV), Mike Folie, ( commissioned by the late Broadway and film producer George George - My Dinner with Andre', Memphis, to write a play about sex researcher Dr. Alfred Kinsey), Matt Hoverman, (2014 Emmy Award for Best Writing on an Animated Series for ARTHUR (PBS), Cheryl Stern (Jonathan Larson winner for original musical, Normal.), Robert W. Atwood and Rosemary Loar (Best of the Fest for the 2012 NYMTF for Spoolie Girl), plus a charming offering from 13 year old Mia Katz.

With her light-hearted and often amusing ways, she stings and swing and does other jazzy things with the man's outstanding repertoire. There's much to choose from and she's got the intelligence and wit to match his in an entirely different mood and mode." Village Voice- Finkle

"Since audiences can't seem to keep talents of this magnitude occupied, audiences starved for good music and solid entertainment can be grateful that cabaret and Rosemary Loar have found one another." Post
