Awarded the 2014 Daytime Creative Emmy for Outstanding Writing in an Animated Program and the 2016 Humanitas Prize for Children's Animation for his work on Arthur (PBS Kids) and the 2018 Norman Lear Center's Sentinel Award for his depiction of Disney's first disabled princess on Sofia the First, Matt has also written for NBC/Universal's Curious George (including the double-length 75th Anniversary-of-the-books special), Warner Bros.' Batwheels and Disney Jr's Goldie & BearFancy Nancy (for which he's been nominated for another Emmy, an Annie and two GLAAD awards), Spidey & His Amazing Friends, Firebuds (head writer/story editor, currently nominated for a GLAAD award) and RoboGobo (story editor/developed).
